Shooting suspect arrested

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police take a man into custody in a shooting earlier this month in Lexington.

Court documents say 33-year-old William Higgins shot a man in the leg back on August 3 near Chestnut and Third.

The victim says he knew Higgins for years, but only by the name of “Jawbone,” according to documents.

Higgins is charged with assault.
