Shots fired on North Martin Luther King Boulevard prompts police investigation
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Lexington Police are investigating a Sunday night shooting that caused property damage on North Martin Luther King Boulevard.
Officers were called to the area around 9:30 p.m. after receiving reports of shots fired. When they arrived, police said they found shell casings at the scene.
Authorities did not specify what property was hit, but confirmed four people were nearby at the time the gunfire occurred. No suspects have been identified.
Police said anyone involved in the incident could face four counts of wanton endangerment and four counts of criminal mischief.
Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact Lexington Police.
