Deputies asking for help finding missing Laurel County woman

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Deputies in Laurel County are asking for the public’s help as they search for a missing woman.

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says 37-year-old Melissa Moore was last seen on Dec. 16 along Barbourville Road, about nine miles south of London.

Deputies describe Moore as 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing around 130 pounds.

Officials say they’re continuing to follow up on leads, but anyone who may have seen Moore or knows where she might be is encouraged to come forward.
