The Jessamine Co. Sheriff’s Office is reporting a robbery at Hus Farm & Turf.
According to the Sheriff, literally tons of farming equipment, estimated to be valued at about $70,000 dollars was taken from the store.
Police say they believe the suspects entered the business through the north side of the fence, then stole a truck with a trailer on the back and drove through a gate to gain access to more equipment.
Investigators say landscaping equipment, trailers, and lawn mowers were among the items taken. Officers also say that much of the equipment stolen has serial numbers and vin numbers, which should make them easily identifiable. One trailer even has a very noticeable “MW” on it.
Police are searching for whomever was responsible, and are hoping to generate leads from the public.
