Sheriff: Student arrested for threat against Harlan Co. school

HARLAN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A teenager was arrested for making a threat against an eastern Kentucky high school, according to deputies.

The Harlan County Sheriff’s Office says it received a complaint about the threat made against Harlan County High School on Monday night.

After investigating, the sheriff says a 15-year-old was taken into custody and charged with second-degree terroristic threatening.

The teen was taken to the Breathitt County Juvenile Detention Center.
