Sheriff: Man ran from accident scene after crashing into car

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Sheriff’s deputies in Laurel County say a man ran from his car after crashing into another vehicle Friday near London.

The sheriff says the woman driving in the other car, was trapped inside. Deputies say it happened just before five, Friday. They’re reporting a red Jeep Cherokee hit a Pontiac on KY 3434. The driver of the Jeep is described as a white man with long hair, wearing a white shirt.

The driver, trapped in the other car and her young passenger were taken to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown. If you have any information that might help investigators, call (606) 864-6600.
