Shed a total loss after Lexington fire
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- A shed is a total loss after a fire in Lexington Thursday evening.
Fire Major Jeff Johnson says a call about the fire came in just after 11 p.m. Thursday night.
Major Johnson says when firefighters arrived they found a shed engulfed in flames at the back of a duplex apartment on Breckenridge Street and Shropshire Avenue.
He says the flames moved from the shed to a fence that is located on the left side of the duplex.
Johnson says the duplex is vacant and no one lives inside, but the shed is a total loss.
He says investigators will try to figure out how the fire started.
