Sexual abuse charge dismissed against local chef

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A well-known Lexington chef is no longer facing a sexual abuse charge.

In June of 2018, Willie Love Talley, who is on the Kentucky sex offender registry, was charged with third-degree sexual abuse and filming or photographing a minor without consent.

Talley was accused of kissing and fondling a 17-year old girl who worked for him at his restaurant, Talley’s BBQ in Lexington.

On Tuesday, a Fayette County judge dismissed the third-degree sexual abuse charge against Talley.

This comes less than a week after a jury found him not guilty of filming or photographing a minor without consent.
