Severe storms already causing damage

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – From initial storm reports, authorities are already bringing in accounts of homes and properties being damaged by falling trees, and waters rising dangerously high on Monday afternoon.

Someone reported a funnel cloud in Madison County, but it did not appear to touch down.

While a Tornado watch has been issued for the Lexington area, a Tornado Warning is not yet in effect.
