Setting the stage: UK vs. UT series history

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – You don’t have to hash out the history between UK and Tennessee to know the Cols have dominated the series on the gridiron and that Solid Blue fans don’t like Rocky Top.

But we’ll talk about the series history anyway for those who need a refresher.

77-24-9 is the all-time record in favor of UT.

In Lexington, the Vols are 36-14-3.

And for those who forgot, by choice or else, Tennessee topped the Cats 50-16 last season in Knoxville.

While the Vols are 3-4 this year, they’ve played better than their record shows, giving up 3 fourth quarter leads now.

Don’t expect for that to happen in Lexington Saturday night.
