LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – It was another grind it out, wait and see game this past weekend at Commonwealth Stadium.  But yet again, the Cats prevailed.

40-38 the final.  UK wins it over Miss State.

Mark Stoops knows his team has a lot to work on to improve and get better before the trip to Missouri.  A win over the Tigers would no doubt be a statement game for the Cats.

It would mark their first win on the road this year.

As for the team’s mentality and approach in the win over the Bulldogs, the performance was nothing short of gutsy and tough.
