UPDATE: KSP releases video of suspect in deadly Knox Co. shooting

Kentucky State Police released surveillance video of a robbery at a Knox County store that left one man dead.
The video shows the suspect walking into the store.
Police say the suspect pointed a handgun at the clerk and that’s when a bystander in the store, 25-year-old Gary Medlin, tried to run from the store.
They say the suspect fired several shots at Medlin, killing him.
State Police ask anyone who recognizes the suspect to call (606) 573-3131.

GRAY, Ky. (WTVQ) — State Police are investigating a shooting at a gas station in Knox County that they say left an innocent bystander dead.
According to police, a man walked into the A & B Quick Stop just after midnight Wednesday and held the clerk at gunpoint.
Police say 25-year-old Gary Medlin, of Barbourville, was a bystander inside the gas station.
They say when Medlin tried to leave, the suspect shot and killed him.
Medlin was pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner.
Police say the suspect ran away on foot, but was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, black pants, and tan boots.
