UPDATE: Man reported missing after going swimming found safe

According to the Floyd County Chronicle and Times, Tony Wright was found safe.

FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Crews are searching for a man who disappeared while swimming in the Big Sandy River Wednesday.

According to the Paintsville Herald, 20-year-old Tony Wright was living under the Harold bridge at the U.S. 23/Ky. 979. The newspaper says someone called Kentucky State Police to say Wright went for a swim in the Levisa Fork near the bridge, but never resurfaced.

If anyone sees Wright, they are asked to call 911.
