Search crews continue looking for missing Casey County man Jacob Ring

CASEY COUNTY, KY. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Search crews are continuing efforts to locate a missing man in Casey County.

According to the Liberty-Casey County Rescue Squad, teams conducted an extensive search on February 28 for 28-year-old Jacob Ring, who has been missing since January.

Crews used ground search teams, K-9 units and drones to search wooded and agricultural areas near Kentucky 70 and Highway 206.

Officials say more than 100 miles were covered during the search, but no confirmed contact with Ring was made.

Authorities are asking residents in the area to check trail cameras, barns and other remote locations and report any information to dispatch.
