Scythe vs. Weed Whacker

SOMERSET, U.K. (WTVQ Social) – It’s a modern day John Henry tale, as a man with a scythe faces off against another man with a gas-powered weed whacker.

This is an annual race at the annual Green Fair and South West Scythe Festival in Somerset, U.K.  Honors go to the first person to rip through a patch of grass.

The guy with the scythe is the British Scythe champion, flat-out blazing through his plot!  He leaves the machine in the dust by a long shot!
