Scott County man arrested in child porn case

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Scott County man was arrested in his home in Georgetown Thursday morning as part of a child pornography investigation by the Kentucky Attorney General’s Cybercrimes Unit.

Investigators say 59-year old Robert D. Jackson was charged with 25-counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and two counts of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.

Investigators say they seized a laptop actively downloading child pornography in Jackson’s home. They say the computer also had hundreds of files depicting children engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

Jackson was lodged in the Scott County Detention Center.
