Scott County and Madison Central prepare for 6A Semi-State match up

LEXINGTON, Ky (WTVQ) – There are a handful of teams left in Kentucky still playing high school football.

Two of them, Scott County and Madison Central, will strap it up and play for a ticket to the state title game.
Semi-State is not a new stage for the Cardinals; this will be their third year in a row playing for a shot to play for a state championship.
Why have they been so consistent?
Head Coach Jim McKee says it’s all about time.
Also, Madison Central won their first regional title last weekend in a double overtime classic against Conner.
Their Head Coach Mark Scenters says they are making it “business as usual” this week.
Check out the video to hear from both coaches.
