Scott County Issues Golden Alert For Missing Man
Georgetown, Ky. – On 10/24/2015 deputies with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office responded to 100 block of Hess Branch Road, in Stamping Ground, KY in reference to a missing adult.
Becky Collins, stated her seventy-seven year old father, Wilbur Eugene Harrod, was last seen leaving a friend’s residence on Luke Pike in Sadieville, KY around 2:30PM on 10/23/2015. Wilbur Harrod was last seen in his 1997 Red Chevrolet Cavalier with Kentucky License plate334AVW.
Mr. Harrod was wearing faded blue jeans, a dark t-shirt with a pocket, black tennis shoes, a green jacket, and black KSP ball cap. Mr. Harrod stated he was headed to Van Hook True Value Hardware in Cynthiana and would be back. Mr. Harrod is a white male 5’11” 198lbs with blue eyes and short white hair. This was the last time Mr. Harrod has been seen.
Wilbur Harrod suffers from Dementia, the onset of Alzheimers, and depression.
