Santa brings Christmas early to Foster Care Council
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Some children in Lexington received an early Christmas surprise from Santa this weekend.
The Foster Care Council shared a message on social media Sunday, saying in part, “The 2020 version of our Christmas Spectacular is underway!! Santa has made his list and is checking it twice!!”
The post sent on to say, “His “elves” are busy helping him make these kiddos Christmas wishes come true!”
Several volunteers were pictured as part of the event. Lexington businesses donated toys and clothes to make the event possible.
The Foster Care Council provides funding for individualized tutoring, clothing, summer camps, and enrichment activities to Kentucky’s foster children that have been removed from their homes due to neglect, abuse or abandonment.
