Salvation Army’s “Red Kettle” campaign begins

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — The bell ringers are returning just in time for the holiday season.

That Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign kicks off today in the State Capitol Rotunda in Frankfort at 11 a.m.

The campaign is the Salvation Army’s largest fundraising program, and the money raised goes toward helping families in need.
