Salvation Army to serve Christmas Day Dinner
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Salvation Army will serve a Christmas Day Dinner to the community at 736 W. Main Street, Lexington, KY from 12PM-1:30PM on Christmas Day.
The meal, consisting of turkey and all the trimmings, will be prepared and served by staff and volunteers at The Salvation Army. Volunteers will also deliver 131 meals to homebound persons. It is anticipated that over 800 meals will be served in-house. Bread will be provided by Joe Bologna’s Italian Restaurant.
A Toy Store will be set up by Centenary United Methodist Church Youth Group to provide new gifts for children attending the dinner. Adults will be given a new UK sweatshirt from Wildcat Warehouse.
