Salvation Army to Hold Zumba Charity Event
The Salvation Army has released numbers that paint a picture of this Winter’s harshness.
So far in 2014, the Salvation Army has provided shelter for 569 women and children – that’s an increase of 60% over last year at this time.
As more resources were used to provide emergency shelter, the Salvation Army is now holding a Zumba charity event to try to build up their supplies again.
The event will happen March 12th at 6:30 p.m. at The Salvation Army Gymnasium, 736 W. Main Street, in Lexington.
Tickets are $10/person.
Donations of supplies will also be accepted.
There will be several door prizes at the event, and the first 30 people entering the door will receive a 2-week pass to La Fitness in Palomar Centre.
