Salvation Army Prepares For Christmas Dinner In Lexington
The Salvation Army of Lexington expected to serve about 1,000 meals Thursday in Lexington.
The non-profit prepared for the dinner Wednesday.
The meal included turkey and all the trimmings.
The annual Christmas dinner was scheduled to run from noon to 1:30p.m.
It was being held at 736 West Main Street.
Volunteers also planned to deliver food to about 130 people Christmas Day who were homebound.
