Russell County crash victim identified

LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man who died in a rollover crash in Russell County Tuesday has been identified.

Kentucky State Police say 59-year-old Walter Parsons, of Stanford, was driving on U.S. 127 north of Russell Springs around 9:40 a.m. when his car went off the shoulder of the roadway, struck an embankment then rolled several times.

Police say Parsons was thrown from the car.

He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The crash remains under investigation.
