Rupp Arena issues clear bag policy for Ariana Grande concert

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A clear bag policy is in effect for the Ariana Grande Sweetener World Tour being held at Rupp Arena this weekend.

Rupp says the policy is to help provide a safe experience for attendees. It has issued other security measures for the concert, including:

• Only bags that are 100% clear will be allowed
• Each fan may only carry one bag
• All bags must be made of clear plastic, vinyl or PVC. One gallon sized clear plastic freezer bags are also permitted.
• All belongings must be individually placed in the clear bag and cannot be placed in additional bags within.
• Bags must not exceed the following dimensions: 12” x 6” x 12”
• No recording devices or cameras permitted. Cell phones with cameras are permitted.
• Guests are encouraged to arrive early.

The concert will be on November 17 at 8 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
