Rubio backs out of Kentucky campaign stops

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Marco Rubio announced on Wednesday that he would not be attending his March 14 rally in Lexington.

When asked for a reason, his campaign responded they would be trying to use Rubio’s time as efficiently as possible before Saturday’s election.

“We regret that Marco cannot be present,” said Jordan Russell, Iowa spokesman for the Rubio campaign.
