RPD: Man arrested for not doing job
RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) -An Irvine man has been arrested after police say he took money to do work, but never completed the job.
Officers say the owner of a property on Blackwell Court in Richmond paid 33-year-old Cecil Jones $1,200 dollars in advance to do repairs on the property. The homeowner says, however, that Jones never did the work, and ignored requests to have the money returned.
A warrant was issued for Jones on October 12 on a theft charge. Police say they found Jones that same day and took him into custody. He was taken to the Madison Co. Detention Center.
