Rowan Co. food service worker tests positive for Hep A

ROWAN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Rowan County Health Department reports that a food service worker has tested positive for Hepatitis A and has been treated.

The health department says the worker does does not prepare food and that the risk to the public is minimal

It also says it has met with the restaurant and advised on what steps to take to minimize exposure.

The department did not identify restaurant.
