Routine traffic stop leads to drug arrest in Clinton County

Clinton County, KY. (WTVQ)- A man is arrested after drugs are found during a traffic stop.

35 year-old Phillip Campbell of Albany was arrested Saturday night in the limits of Albany on US 127 after a Trooper noticed him trying to conceal something.

This led to a search, which lead to the discovery of marijuana, cash, digital scales, and methamphetamine.

Campbell was arrested and charged with rear license plate not illuminated, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and trafficking in a controlled substance.

Campbell was lodged in the Clinton County Jail.
