Rolling roadblocks on New Circle Road for pothole repair
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Drivers in Lexington should prepare for overnight delays as crews work to repair potholes along New Circle Road.
According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, rolling roadblocks are scheduled from 8 p.m. Tuesday through 5 a.m. Wednesday morning on New Circle Road near Georgetown Road, heading toward the Woodhill Drive exit.
Officials say the same overnight traffic pattern will be in place again Wednesday night during those same hours.
Transportation officials warn drivers to expect temporary slowdowns and use extra caution while traveling through the work zone.
Crews say the repairs are part of ongoing efforts to address roadway damage caused by recent winter weather.
