Roe Trial Jury Goes Into Deliberation
After a full day Wednesday, the jury went into deliberation to decide the fate of Marty Roe.
Roe is accused of murdering Dr. Martha Post in September 2011.
The day began with the defense calling several witnesses to the stand, including Post’s husband, Dr. Robert Truitt.
The defense said Truitt was creating a ‘facade,’ and said he was lying.
After the defending attorneys rested, both they and the prosecuting attorneys gave their closing arguments.
The defense argued Marty Roe was a ‘patsy’ and was innocent.
The prosecution pointed to the evidence, calling Roe a ‘killer.’
Afterward, the jury went into deliberation. That was around 3:45 p.m.
There’s no word yet on when they’ll finish.
