Rockcastle County home destroyed in Sunday fire; no injuries reported

ROCKCASTLE COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A home was destroyed by fire early Sunday morning in Rockcastle County, according to the Brodhead Fire Department.

Firefighters say crews were called just before 4 a.m. to a house fire on Sue Johnson Road. When they arrived, the fire was significant enough that multiple units from surrounding agencies were requested to help battle the flames.

Despite the extensive damage, fire officials say no one was injured in the fire. The home was declared a total loss.

The cause of the fire has not been released.
