Robbery suspect quickly tracked by police

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A robber didn’t stay on the run for long, according to Lexington police.

34-year-old Scotty Hobbs was arrested on Wednesday, a little over an hour after he robbed Yummy
Yummy Asian Cuisine on West Main Street, according to court documents.

Police say he went into the restaurant at 7:30 p.m. and implied he had a weapon.

He demanded money but didn’t get any.

K9 units were called in and tracked him down.

He was arrested at 8:50 p.m.

Documents say Hobbs confessed to the robbery.
