Road work to impact traffic on US 25E in Knox County
MANCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ/Press Release) – Paving and railroad track repair work on US 25E in Knox County is expected to change traffic patterns for drivers.
The operations around mile point 11.858 will start Tuesday, Aug. 10 at 8 a.m. and should end Wednesday, Aug. 11 at 6 p.m.
On Tuesday, southbound traffic will be diverted onto the northbound lane. The following day, northbound traffic will be diverted onto the southbound lane.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 11 crews will work on the paving operations. The railroad track repair operations will be done by CSX.
Drivers should be aware of the work zone, anticipate delays and use safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
