Road work in Scott Co. will cause detours for people traveling Stamping Ground Road

SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that a temporary closure is scheduled for Stamping Ground Road/KY 227 in Scott County.

The closure is necessary for a curve revision project. The project will provide improved safety for the traveling public.

Monday, October 8 through Friday, October 19

Stamping Ground Road/KY 227

• the route will be closed between milepoints 3.1 and 3.2

Detour

Motorists will be diverted to the following alternate routes:

o KY 1143 (McClelland Circle)

o KY 32 (Long Lick PIke)

o KY 1688 (Woodlake Rd)
