Road reopens after train derailment in Letcher County

ISOM, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky 15 is back open after a stretch was temporarily closed Tuesday due to a train derailment in Letcher County, according to State Police.

Investigators say the derailment happened near the intersection of Highway 7 North and Vada Brooks Lane in Isom.

State Police say no injuries were reported.

The cause of the derailment is under investigation.
