Road reopens in Martin County after propane truck accident

MARTIN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky Route 40 in Martin County reopened Thursday night after being closed in the afternoon due to a propane truck accident, according to a Facebook post by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators say Thursday afternoon, a propane truck hit the end of a bridge and slid into a creek on KY 40, also known as Blacklog Road.

A detour was put in place for drivers traveling between Warfield and Inez.
