Richmond’s Pops at the Park has been cancelled
RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – This year’s Pops at the Park in Richmond has been cancelled.
An announcement on the city’s Chamber of Commerce Facebook page cites the recommendation of local health officials and a rise in COVID-19 cases as what led them to cancel.
The post said, “Please try to be considerate as this is a very difficult call for us to make as we were looking forward to it just as much as all of you; however, also want to make sure we protect and provide for the safety of our community.”
Details will be coming regarding a refund plan for already purchased tickets by Thursday, Aug. 19.
