Richmond Police Looking For Car Lot Vandals

Police are looking for whoever is responsible for the thousands of dollars worth of damage at a car dealer in Richmond.

People at Toyota South said someone used a key or screwdriver to scratch 41 vehicles on the lot.

Workers said they have had instances like this in the past, but never to this many cars.

A body shop is fixing the cars.

They are estimating it will cost an average of at least $1,000 per car.

Managers said this timing is bad because this is one of the busiest weeks of the year for them.

Police will continue to investigate.
