Richmond man charged with rape, sexual abuse

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – Investigators have charged a Richmond man with more than a dozen counts of rape involving minors.

The Berea Police Department says 35-year-old Marcus Williams raped and sexually abused two girls under the age of 18 over an extended period of time.

Police say both girls were in his care.

Williams was arrested last week.

He faces 14 counts of rape, two counts of sodomy, four counts of sexual abuse, promoting a sexual performance by a minor, and use of a minor in a sexual performance.
