Joint investigation leads to drug arrest in Central Kentucky

CRAB ORCHARD, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A joint investigation by multiple law enforcement agencies has led to a drug arrest in Central Kentucky.

Deputies with the Lincoln County and Garrard County sheriff’s offices say they conducted an investigation around 10 p.m. Monday in the Crab Orchard area.

During the investigation, deputies say they found a loaded firearm, about a half-ounce of suspected heroin or fentanyl, along with digital scales and baggies.

Antonio “Slim” Johnson of Richmond was arrested and charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Johnson is being held at the Pulaski County Detention Center.
