Richmond Fire Department specialized training this week
Richmond, Ky. – The Richmond Fire Department will be conducting specialized heavy rescue type training this week at our training center located at 255 Four Mile Ave. in Richmond.
The class will consist of two modules of auto extrication, with the second module comprised of heavy extrication training on tractor trailers, concrete trucks, cars in limited access scenarios, and all offering a high degree of challenge and teamwork. Training will be conducted in both the morning and afternoon on Tuesday and Wednesday.
We invite you to come out and see how we work in these specialized response capabilities. We use these types of hands on continuing educational opportunities to hone our skills. This training is a partnership between the Richmond Fire Department and the Kentucky State Fire Commissions/ Kentucky Community and Technical College.
