Richmond Couple To Face Charges In Baby’s Death In Ohio
A Richmond couple is being sent to Ohio to face charges in a baby’s death.
Whitney Johnson,26, and Nathan Ritze,25, waived extradition Monday morning in Richmond. Police said the body of Johnson’s one-year-old son, Garin Niehaus, was found Friday in a wooded area of Hillsboro, Ohio.
Investigators said a tip about the baby’s death led them to Johnson and Ritze in Richmond.
The couple is due in court in Ohio next month.
