Rewards offered in search for missing 10-year-old boy in Breathitt County
BREATHITT COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A GoFundMe account has been launched to help fund a cash reward in the search for missing 10-year-old Jayden Spicer in Breathitt County.
Organizers say the reward money will go to the person who finds Jayden, who has been missing for one week. So far, the fundraiser has collected more than $2,000.
A second reward is also being offered. Papal Missionary of Mercy priest Father Jim Sichko is offering $1,500 for Jayden’s safe return.
Jayden was last seen at his home on Panbowl Branch Road in Jackson around 9 p.m. last Tuesday night, wearing “Sonic the Hedgehog” pajamas. Kentucky State Police say he was reported missing the next morning.
Search crews have been using drones, sonar, and helicopters to aid in the effort. Eastern Kentucky State Senator Brandon Smith has also joined the search.
Anyone with information is urged to call 911 or leave a tip through the KSP website.
