Reunions set for former residents at Land Between The Lakes

GOLDEN POND, Ky. (AP) — Former residents of the Stewart County, Tennessee, portion of the area now known as Lane Between The Lakes National Recreation Area are gathering next month for their annual Homecoming.

A homecoming is also planned for Lyon County, Kentucky.

The Stewart County event is Sept. 6 at the Bison Range Picnic Area south of The Homeplace on Woodlands Trace National Scenic Byway in Land Between The Lakes.

The Lyon County event is Sept. 19 at Star Camp Picnic Area.

The reunions are for former residents, relatives and friends.

Land Between The Lakes manages more than 170,000 acres in western Kentucky and Tennessee.
