Restaurants offer incentives for customers to help tornado victims

Discounts for giving blood, part of sales headed to Western Kentucky
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Area restaurants are offering incentives to customers to help victims of the tornadoes that ripped across western and central Kentucky Friday night and Saturday morning.
Lexington’s Condado Tacos restaurant at The Summit at Fritz Farm will donate 10% of its total sales Monday, Dec. 13 and Tuesday, Dec. 14 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., — dine-in only and excludes alcohol purchases.
All donation proceeds will go to the American Red Cross Kentucky Disaster Relief Fund.
For information, contact our Lexington Condado Tacos during business hours at 859-368-7711.

Fazoli’s is calling on the Lexington community to help curb the blood shortage by offering a compelling incentive to those who donate blood this week.

From Dec. 13-18, the Italian brand has partnered with the Kentucky Blood Center to give away vouchers redeemable for a free small spaghetti with meat sauce or marinara to anyone who donates blood at their Andover or Beaumont blood center locations. Each donor will receive a flyer they can take to their favorite Lexington Fazoli’s location to receive their complementary entrée.

“We’re incredibly thankful for Fazoli’s support during this challenging time,” said Assistant Vice President of Donor Relations Linn Laborda. “The blood shortage is affecting the entire country, and we appreciate those who are encouraging more people to donate. We’re all big Fazoli’s fans, and we believe having a hometown brand offer a delicious incentive will certainly help our state and nation throughout this fight.”
