Reports: Former BYU player Jaxson Robinson removes name from NBA Draft, transfers to Kentucky

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Kentucky Men’s Basketball Coach Mark Pope has landed standout Jaxson Robinson, after the former BYU player withdrew his name from the 2024 NBA Draft.

Robinson was BYU’s leading scorer, averaging 14.2 points per game. He played for Pope two years at BYU.

Originally from Oklahoma, he played at Texas A&M in 2020-21 before transferring to Arkansas for the 2021-22 season.

Robinson will have one year of eligibility when he plays for Kentucky.
