Remembering a mother of three and the victim of a murder-suicide
LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — Three children are now without their parents after a tragic murder-suicide in Lincoln County.
“We have to find a way for the children to have a better world than this. This is so unfair,” Heather Balwin’s friend Geoff Sebesta said.
On Thursday, February 27th, Kentucky State Police say 30-year-old Spencer Baldwin shot both 30-year-old Heather Baldwin and 40-year-old Dennis Perry before turning the gun on himself. All three died.
“The sadness from this is going to reverberate for a long time. This really mattered. She was a big part of a lot of people’s lives,” Sebesta said. “Fearless, absolutely fearless individual.”
The people who knew Heather, loved her. Her friend Whitney Bryant sending ABC 36 a statement.
“She was a light to anyone and everyone she encountered,” Bryant said.
Both Bryant and Sebesta also saying Heather’s husband Spencer was a good father and friend.
“People don’t have a lot of bad to say about Spencer even though he definitely did what he did,” Sebesta said.
“This comes as a shock to all of us obviously who knew them,” Bryant said.
The Baldwin’s three kids are currently with family according to Bryant.
