Reindeer Express – The Nest

Sheri Estill, the Crisis Care Director at the Nest, drops by the studio to tell Elise Dolinar about The Nest Center for Women, Children & Families’ 39th Annual Reindeer Express event, assisting families with children five years-of-age and younger who have received services from The Nest in 2016.

These families are given the opportunity to “shop” at The Nest for new toys, coats, books and art supplies, as well as a food box, for their holiday celebrations!

This year, The Nest will be inviting approximately 565 families to Reindeer Express, which is almost 850 children in need this holiday season!  That is over TWO TIMES the number of families invited and served at last year’s event!

The generosity of community donors is the only way to make this event a success, and that’s where YOU come in!
