Red Cross Sets Up Last-Minute Shelter In Lexington
The Red Cross said Friday it was asked to open a shelter in Fayette County,
It said the request was made because all of the shelters in town were over capacity.
According to the Red Cross, the Community Action Council plans to use its West End Community Center at 913 Georgetown Street as a shelter location.
The shelter will open Friday night at 7:30 and will stay open until 7:30 Monday morning.
